Hear about the billing surprise before Google does.
A patient who was quoted one number and charged another almost never says so at the front desk. They say it to a friend, and sometimes to Google three weeks later. tapsplain puts a one-minute page on a card in your waiting room, written for a clinic, and emails you the answer the day it's given.

Who it's for: Dental, orthodontic, physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage, optometry and walk-in clinics. Anywhere people sit for ten minutes with a phone in their hand.
What customers are asked
The questions are picked from a bank for your kind of business, then trimmed to the three to six you care about most. A typical set:
- Front desk and check-in
- Wait time
- Explanation of treatment
- Comfort and pain management
- Clarity of costs and billing
- Cleanliness
You choose which of these to ask, and we word the ends of each scale for your business.

How it fits your day
A patient who asks for a call back arrives in your inbox with URGENT in the subject line and their number at the top, so it's what you read first between appointments.
The questions are about your kind of practice: the wait, whether the treatment was explained before it happened, whether the cost was clear. Nobody is asked to rate the ambience.
Monday's digest shows which of those scores moved. If the wait has been slipping for three weeks, you find out from a trend line instead of from a review.
A word on privacy
If a patient leaves a phone number to be called back, it goes to you and nobody else, is stored encrypted, and is de-identified after 24 months. The page never asks about symptoms or treatment details, only about the visit.
The price
$800 once, plus tax. It covers the page, the two printable cards and twelve months of emails and reports. Renewal is $240 a year if you want it. Full refund any time before we start building.
